depends how deep your pockets are for insurance
or, do like everyone else and get one with one on a 1.2 log book i mean, it will only matter if you crash

yeh i was thinking that, keeping my 1.4 as a 1.4 on the book, but what if police look under the bonnet and see a beefy engine with turbo written on it lol
could be quite hard getting out of that one lol

18 + C20LET = Crash.
It's going to happen and you'll not be the 1st and you'll not be the last.

Its pointless even thinking about a let till your 21+ in my opinion, yeah you can get insured at 18/19 but at a big cost.
That money could be saved if you waited a few years and got more driving experience.

well its up to you what you want to do. id doubt anyone would insure you with a sensible quote at 18, but if they do and youve got the cash why not.

wait a while save up a bit and build one. i find the building and learning process more fun than anything. probably slightly enjoy bulding the car more than driving it. weird eh

your 18, stick to a low CC car with NA ! get a few years driving under your belt first...roads are danger, a c-let makes it danger + power to cause danger...
