Now her teacher (or some bloke) is telling her what to do with clearing. She got pwned on National Radio

I was a cynic before today, I thought they always used people that would blatantly do well.

You go on National Radio to open your results you leave yourself wide open for criticism ffs

The awkward silences were the best bit and the guy going 'this is real'

Guy in the office just said they had a girl on News 24 this morning opening her results. She opened the envelope, screamed and jumped about, then actually read it and she'd got a D

Her face just dropped

You don't volunteer to open your results anywhere other than in your house by yourself imo, unless you are a geek type that actually studied for their exams.

It's probably highlighting how if you get bad results, that isn't the end of it. I.e. clearing, ringing the Uni direct etc.

A girl at my school cried because she got 8 A*'s and 1 A (GSCE level)

She wanted a rack of A*'s. While she was doing her A Levels, she re-sat the GCSE which she got the A in just so she could get the A*
