There are companies that pay you to do research on your wisdom teeth or new ways of removing them i think, But the nhs dentists do do them.

Had four taken out about 8 years ago, never knew they were there tbh, but dentist said they were pushing my other teeth forwards. Had mine done at the hospital, was in overnight iirc.

I got all of mine taken out under general anaesthetic because they didn't have enough room to come through, they even had to chip part of my lower jaw away to take the bottom ones out sides ways. 36 stitches, looking like a chipmunk storing food for the winter, excruciating pain and not being able to eat solid foods for the best part of a week, I can honestly say in was one of the worst experiences of my life

Identical to me, didn't think it possible for my face to swell that much. And the stitches are fuckin awful.

I had one out cos it was growing inwards, the other was growing normally so they left it it. Will have to go back about my tops ones. They did it on the NHS, had to wait a few months though. It doesnt hurt, just a funny sensation.

I had one of mine out under local anethestic, and it killed Had about 4 injections in my gum to numb it up.
He was using my jaw as a pivot point for the bar he was ramming down the side of my gum to lever the tooth out. Felt like my jaw was gonna snap Didn't need any stitches though luckily. Worst few minutes ever.

Phil if its any consellation I was surprised at how easy and painless it wass.
About 4 injections in my gum then he literally ripped the tooth out you dont feel a thing though you can just hear it hence I said its a weird sensation.

i had to get mine out at the hospital, had to wait about 6 months to get mine out.
They neede to drill them and then brake it inot small pieces to get them out as were growing at a funny angle.
Was pretty sore, was ok as long as i kept busy. were good painkillers they gave me.
