Like an arsehole around here, everyone seems to have one.

Not my cuppa tea, but quick and comfortable.

I really like them

my next door nabour has a brand new one in white (and hes only 18) and it looks lush

once going it pulls really hard, they also feel really solid. Weve had a few blast through the lanes where we live and i was surprised it didnt pull on my clio but once on an open road i think it would be a different stoery.

Im considering one for my next car. But IMO that orange colour has dated very quickly and now i think it looks gash

If you look at the mint ones then they are more like £14k-£15k

I still would go for one over an ST, its not like they are old now is it!

You'll never pay list price for a Focus either so even better value.

From the long term tests I've read they seem to have really poor MPG but if you buy a car like that then your not concerned with economy

they look crap and never actually seen one ripping. the st range in personal opinion is crap. cosworth/rs range are so much better! if you have that sort of ££££ to spend why dont you go for some thing cheaper and prob alot better? skyline gts, as said focus rs, or as im biased a starlet turbo, and the money you have left mod the engine and ul be beatin stock/slightly modded scoobies, stock skyline gts's if not more. or just keep your cupra! you dont want ford tat! lol

I would rather buy a nice standard car that is quick than an older car and waste money throwing it at it.

Nice cars, very quick and quite abit of torque. The Recaro's as sooo comfortable, nice interior too.

I was looking at them but when i researched further i read stories of people getting sinlge figure mpg when doing spirited runs through country roads which sort of put me off, but that is expected with these cars.

I have though gone for the Megane R26 F1, about the same power and with around the same features - also has LSD. Also rarer than the ST, has a more involved drive too i think.

Will be putting in a order for the Glacier White with Anthracite wheels this weekend - October delivery though

I second that, the only race I had against a ST was a close call.

Bit like OJC's astra VXR
