got stopped by the police last night due to my front plate.
anyway they weren't too bad they were quite nice about it, think it was more because i actually had my other one in the boot so i could swap them over. but i got no fine  and all i have to do is go to an mot place and get them sign this paper and post it off so quite lucky i spose really.
so next on the list is just a standard plain number plate as my old one looks crap  it looks massive GHEY.
this morning i was annoyed with them till i heard on the radio they actually conviscated (sp) 4 cars due to 1 being banned and 3 uninsured so i spose it was good that they were there stopping people. but still slightly annoying

Think people with small plates carry a spare in the boot with the sticky stuff to stick it on with now lol

The small one looks gay tbh. May as well have the correct sized plate that the recess was designed for.

tbf i dont think it will look so bad once i get a plain one made again lol. and ill just stick it on with valcro or summat so i can swap them over every so often.

I like the smaller front plates. Looks better with less white plate and more paintwork on show.
Been lucky and not been stopped for mine and had it on for over a year.

iv had mind on for ages and bin past loads of police, and actually stopped the other day and they said nothing (altho i dont think he noticded it). gutted i was stopped but tbh it had to happen lol.
it will be back on in time.

What did they do? pull you onto that car park at the bottom end. Noticed there were loads of cop cars on there

well there was two people standing in the road. one just stood there looked me and walked into the middle of the lane lol. to make me stop, then asks why my plate was so small, i goes well i bought it like that and thought it was fine, then hes goes just go onto the car park and have a chat to my mate lol. then they just looked all round the car checked my front tyre lol cause the treads a bit low but its fine for a while. tbh he was a nice guy. two asians there at the same time as me who had tints on the front windows so was kinda listenin to them at the same time lol. and got talkin to the the cop about tints in the end lol. then i just swapped the plates over and it was fine let me drive off.

i prefer the full sized plates, but each to their own i say. at least you got off with it

in my experience, if you're alright with them they're more inclined to be alright with you. if you act like a cocky fucker they'll treat you like one and you're always going to come off worse

only ever dealt with them twice (both this week :lol but yeh i wouldnt be cocky with them cause tbh they are just doing their job. and it annoyed me when people moaned at me at my old job.
