Got a very good quote on the sport today, i've phoned around 8-9 different insurance companies as my renewal came through at £510 TPFT from Norwich Union. Phoned around and they ranged from 800-1000 Bear in mind i'm 22, with 4yrs NCB!

Anyway got in touch with flux, and they'll insure me for £404 FC.

Only thing that's putting me off is that i've heard their customer service is a bit naff from a couple of people on here

Otherside of the argument is the fact that the price is sooooo appealing.

I've tried AA, Tesco, ASDA, Admiral, Elephant, Direct line, More than, to name a few, and they've been ridiculous quotes!!!

What would you guys do? Need insurance today, as my policy has expired today

Can you elaborate? Are they slow at sending documents out to you? Shit if you make a claim? Problems cancelling/switching policies? What!

Shit overall in every area

Very slow when making a claim, they like to do things at their pace and convenience. Same applies with documentation etc. This is ofcourse my experience and those of close friends, although I have heard this is more widespread. No doubting however it is a decent quote. You tried all the usual moneysupermarket.com gocompare.com etc etc?

Absolute Shite.

Really competitive on price, but shocking when it comes to dealing with claims. I had a very straightforward non fault accident last November, young lad on a moped came straight out of a junction and smashed into the side of me, he admitted liability straightaway. Gave me his details etc, I instructed Adrian Flux to sort it out with his insurance, didn't hear anything for a month, so called them to see when my car would be fixed, they said they couldn't fix it yet as the lad didn't have any insurance and they were instructing the MIB(not men in black lol) to investigate and try to get me some compensation, in the meantime I would have to arrange to get my car sorted myself and pay the excess, which I did, although I wasn't happy. Eventually after 4 months the MIB came back and said the lad did have insurance, who with? Adrian Fucking Flux!! Eventually got compensated for my losses, then when my renewal comes through the door in July they've taken all of my 8 years no claims off me and increased my insurance by £35 a month!!! When I called to ask why, they said it was on record as a fault accident on my part!!

Solicitor has got my no claims back for me and is attempting to get compensation for the overcharges.

£497 with more th<n What's p***ing me off is the fact that when i had the cupra and the G40 both were cheaper to insure than this corsa Didn't realise they were sooo expensive to insure, maybe i'm just being stingy but i don't want to be paying nearly £500 or more for a 1.6 that is relatively tame in comparison to my last two cars

I thought they were awesome when they quoted me £600 for my coupe turbo last year. But they quoted me over £900 for my stage 2 Zafira this year!

Just accepted a quote of £572 from Greenlight so now think they are awesome. Excess is far better too at only £250 compared to Adrian Flux £500!

Try Greenlight!!

i got a quote from them which was £250 cheaper than my renewal, rang brentacre and they agreed to match it thank god, anyway i had to get a written quote from flux, it took a whole week and a half to get posted thru to me, when i was told it would be with me next day, i asked for 1 on monday, then wednesday, then friday and only 1 turned up the week after :/, they sound pretty unrpofessional and a bit relaxed on the phone too :/
