They're dangerous for oncoming cars IMO, they're so bright! I was in a car earlier with them on, and they're ace, you can see further, and makes the road generally sharper, not sure if they're very safe for oncoming cars, but when you're i the car i personally think its a lot safer, especially on some of the roads round here (going towards betws y coed).
Who's got them on their corsa's, pics?

i would say so whittie. I find its only th 4x4's that REALLY blind you with HID's
I find its that you can see further and the light looks so natural

HID's are a kit whereas a xenon bulbs is just a bulb.
high intensity something..
and xenons bulbs can be illegal, thread about it a while back.
hate the cunts in the range rovers with them when your sat in a small, quite low car

They are fucking dangerous if you put them in something like a corsa with no bulb shield! They blind other motorists as they need to be intalled in headlights that have projector lenses not just a reflector at the back!
I have them in the BMW only beacuse I have projector lenses. They are all aligned at the MOT centre and I have never been flashed by anyone......
Although I have had corsas dazzle me beacuse the beam just goes everywhere as they are reflector units!
Gareth John - You say HIDs (high intensity discharge) beacuse otherwise you get people thinking that when they are in halfords buying xenon bulbs they are getting the same thing! Halfords call them xenon bulbs beacuse they use the xenon gas inside the bulb, but its still a current being passed through the wire that creates the light!
Whereas in HID units there is no fillament, its a current being passed through gas that creats the light

depends what kit you buy.
The kits I sell are Emarked, CE approved, TUV approved and have dazzle guards. They have also never failed an MOT test.
the cheap ebay shite is what you want to steer clear from.
