And i am knackered! Hardest i've ever worked!

It was so wierd being in a room with people that are my height, some people even made me look short! I was one of the thinest people in my little group, but i still beat some of them in certain areas.

We did some tests for power and strenght, then did 3 minutes on a rowing machine. That was the hardest 3 minutes of my life! I did 802m which i was well happy with. Some boy in my group did 998m in 3 minutes He was unreal!

And Andy, get training hard mate, it seriously pushes you to limit. 2 hours of intense training. Really is hard work, my legs were like jelly

They will narrow it down to 60 people from 2000 that have got trials. So i dont think i will get through. But it was an excellent experience. I find out in september if i'm through or not.

Just thought i'd let you know.

Check this out Andy

http://www.ara-rowing.org/render.aspx?siteID=1&navIDs=1,48,131,1271

It has the average results of the nottingham trials. So you can compare how you scored. I'm lower than average on some tests, but a lot higher than average on others.

Shows the test you have to do too. It is very hard, there were people there that were fit and massive and even they were shagged at the end of it!

I only went to the gym 3 times in the month before the trial so i wasn't prepared at all!

When i used to go to the gym back in the day, i thought i was quite good on the rowing machine.

I had to do 2k as a warm up and i always kept the per 500m under 1.50.

What was yours?

Think 1:40 was about the best i could manage, then as i got more knackered it went down to 1:57 ish or more. The best of the day was 1:21 per 500m

holy fuck, if we put you on gear and fed you 5000 calories together with a mass building program we could turn you into a schwartznegger.
