legend without doubt, id have him back at old trafford any day
because of the press and slating he gets, i dont think he gets the recongition he deserves, imo he'll be sir beckham soon

CAn't see the issue. He's a bit dim, but fair play to the guy.
Normal Joe Bloggs, captins England, a great footballer, loves his family, has earned a bloody fortune, but still completly down to earth. See many of the other rich people as down to earth as him?
Boys done well, his missis, well thats another storey, but then again, would David have done so well without her?? Who knows, we all need a partner and a drive to do things. He's happy, so fair play.

Yeah Posh can turn it on and play the press to the max, but any interviews I've watched her doing, she's been really funny and doesn't mind ripping the p*ss out of herself and Becks. Sometimes she really gets on my t*ts and other times I thinks she's a laugh

Watched the last part of it, the guy does seem a genuinely nice fella. Down to earth and seemingly one of the lads when he is with the team. Never hated the guy most of the time, and obviously gives 100% for both club and country.
He also showed McKnobhead up for the fool he is by coming back into the England fold so easily.

Thought it was a good programme, he came accross very well. Good to see someone who is content with everything they have.

He does get a lot of praise too though, he certainly wouldnt be where he is today without a hell of a lot of it.
He had a downward turn in form and the most shit he got was from the two managers at the time...McKnobhead and Capello. If they'd of just both dropped him to the bench then the media wouldnt of jumped on him either.
Anyway, he proved them both wrong in the end by returning to form, so good on him.
