I bought the astra last week from my boss, Graham at D.C.M.S(formerly TopgearNW) who built it up from more or less a bare shell 2 years ago, ever since then it hasnt missed a beat and runs sweet as a nut!
The Astra is in a totally different league to the corsa, so much smoother and torquey(cant spell that:lol
The astra made 211bhp on the rollers with 200lb-ft of torque.
Its also painted a Volvo pearl bronze.
We dont know what has been done to this engine to make it come out with so much power:laugh: we think the Cav it came from was an ex police car.
2.5 v6 conversion
3ltr camshafts
5 stud conversion
rear disk conversion
V6 disks and calipers
Uprated Shocks and springs
Team dynamics pro race 1.2's
Yokohama Parada spec 2's
Gsi sideskirts, spoiler, vents and rear bumper and reiger front bumper
badgeless grille with extended headlight eyebrows.
Painted a volvo pearl bronza with black detailing.
well heres the pictures, some of you might know of it already.

Opinions welcome

The grille is one of the things im possibly going to be changing in the near future.
Jimmy - id say its an all round better car, its really nice and perfect to drive, might sound silly but it feels alot safer to drive than the corsa and handles loads better.

Stunning astra and looks immaculate.. Only things i'd change is the Grill and the GSi bonnet vents. Colour code those and it'll look 10x better! Nice buy!

looks awesome as it is but suggestions would be colour code the grille and possibly get phase 2 vectra gsi wheels in black or gunmetal

the black detailed bits do look better in person, breaks up all the bronze, iv added a small blakc pinstripe down the middle grove along the doors but its hardly noticable.

This V6 isnt lazy revving at all, it has a lightened flywheel so revs alot easier and much nicer.
