like e reg sort of shape, anyone got one or had one? anything to look out for?

thinking of changing my cavalier a a run around for something else and have seen a 1litre one for cheapish

rust around front of sill's
cracked engines,
gereral stuff really

anything thats amiss you will pick up un pretty quickly

aye, worth a look at one id say. im just thinking the cavalier is too costly to run. gets about same mpg as the corsa and costs the same as the corsa in tax, so no point using it. actually use the corsa more at the moment. a 1litre micra or something like that will have far better miles to a tenner and not cost as much on tax

also, i wouldnt be tempted to modify it which is a good thing

corrosion to rear outer sills, rear inner sills just in front of rear suspension arm mounts and to bulkhead around wiper motor.

also there pretty good for rotten brake pipes, and the rubber mounts that hold the gearstick in place break so its a mission to drive

yeah im thinking about a 1.5td too .. can boost it upto about 90bhp for nob all too and its cheap tax

bang a bleed valve on and up the boost a little

plus turn the fuel up for a batman style smoke screen any honda driver will soon back off when your pasting hin and his spoon airfilter with thick black smoke

yeah, and i know my way around failry well, also have spares kicking about incase something goes wrong. but, i just fancied a change basically. also been looking at 106 diesel, saxo 1.1 etc that sort of thing. i dont need a big car as i dont really go that far or carry much stuff

Theres something in tutorials about it, very easy, just turn a bleed valve or something.

I ran about in a 1litre one for a while - really tinny and when you slam the doors they feel like they're going to drop off but suprisingly nippy and roomy as well! I'd have another one if I had to
