hi, ive just got insured on my corsa im 17 and have a 1.6 sport its on a X plate, ive had so many problems getting insured ive had quotes in the region of,

£6500
£4000
£2700

but finaly got it for £1511,98 wot do you think of that price and wot sort of prices do you pay for your cars?

1511.98 is good for your age mate! Failing that try get a parent to insure it and add you as a 2nd driver. Not sure if this is a cheaper option anymore but its worth a try!

1500 quid is a good price for a 1.6 at 17.

quinn is a good one, also i have found out that putting a parent on it and you as second makes it really cheap, and you still build you no claims

Try Quinn Direct mate, My 1.4 Sport was only £970, If I remember correctly it was only another £200 for a 1.6 Sport, thats TPFT by the way

when i had my car at 17 i was paying £1200 tpft first year for a 1.2, paying £215 fully comp now 22

2500, i got a quote for one for £967 fully comp 18yrs 1 year no claims

Insuance sucks, My advise is drive a slow car for 2 years and then after you've got some experience and no claims under your belt Insurance companies like you and will let you have faster cars for less moneys

Almost as bad as tax IMO

Some of you pay crazy money Although I was £1000+ at 18 so I guess its normal.

Im 24 now, 5yrs ncb, Golf GTi, £177 tpft.

im 18 got 3 points and a claim ona 1.2 corsa and that £1200 with quinn direct, which i thinks pretty good, give them a try

my insurance is with quinn-direct and thats third party fire and theft,
