Well sold the Gti6 yesterday and took a 106 1.6 diesel as part x , which is good as ir great for my work , im going to save a month or 2 and either get an other corsa sport / gsi to turbo again or i have been offered a mint 106 Gti diablo red , totally std with loads of history , new head , timing belt blah de blah for a reasonable sum from a m8 , Now i have had built 2 corsa turbos and miss the fun of them but also like the idea of t/b on a gti with cams etc , whats your views on this ????
and one last good bye to the 6

Here was my first corsa turbo

And the 2nd

Just really fancy idea of the 106 but also really miss the above , and there is one thing for sure if its corsa turbo time this will be the last and it will be kept for a long time

On a corsa forum it's fairly obvious what the result will be!

well its eems to be fairly mixed these days , as past corsa owners have moved on to 106 Gtis cuprsa etc etc , so would just ask your opinions , and i have had loads of corsa's and other make models of cars

Rather than buying a corsa and putting in a 2.0 16v turbo, i'd rather buy a polo/golf/ibiza and put in a 1.8 20v turbo.

the 106 seems to be winning in that side of things as it is a good handling car with no so bad power to begin with so with a few mods such as cams manifold pugsport exhaust system then t/bs oh and a decent suspention setup it really is a all round good car , but there is just something about the buzz you get off a c20 let corsa your never not smiling when the right foot is planted ...... Decisions Decisions.......

Im assuming you've got the evo in avatar aint that fun enough?
106 with the mods you listed would be an awesome pocket rocket. Have you had a ganders at the s2 rallye in classifieds?
