LS1 engines are rated as one of the best there is. Very easy to make silly power from them.
With that charger and looking at other bits i can see in the bay, it has got to be the best side of 700bhp WHICH would work out cheaper than making a Evo 2lt 700bhp.
PLUS the LS1 will be 100% reliable

linked with a rwd and silleh power with no turbo lag..woulda said it was a perfect drifting car!

it will still handle like shit and i bet a 500bhp 4wd evo would still pull a faster straight line speed being lighter weight and 4wd, face it, doing that was a backwards step for that evo

Steve, the LS1 is all alloy, I doubt it will be any heavier than the 4G63

bet it is and even if it isnt its still a stupid conversion, i prefer how a car drives rather how much brute force it has

I see, LS1 doesn't have a transfer box and front diff etc though.

Anyway, it's not a stupid conversion if it's built for one thing and can do it well.

Maybe not in a road car Steve, but if it's been built specifically for drifting, it's probably ideal.
