Not looking forward to it tbh

Witness to assault, I saw a neighbour beat up another neighbour with a baseball bat - pretty certain to get put down for it.

What are witnesses expected to wear to court?? I cba dressing smart, is jeans, trainers & a T-shirt acceptable?

Jeans, tidy trainers and a casual shirt IMO, nothing fancy, but better than a t-shirt.

If you're going then you may as well make an effort. It will boost your credibility as a witness with the Magistrates

Your black trousers and an open necked shirt, with a casual jacket (so you don't look overdressed)

Good luck btw I'll be thinking about you. x

Your a witness so can go as you like.

Its only the accused that should be wearing their best togs. Although from my experience, people who end up in court for that kinda stuff usually arn't too worried about what they are wearing
