Nice one

Heard that the VXR really benefits from a remap?

Good work! Should be sweet with that on it! Are you going for a decat too? Reckon Decat (or at least a sportscat) and a remap will net you some good bhp!

Yep, but you need to hear it. The noise alone is worth it. Plus the fact it doesn't effect warranty as its Vauxhall approved and sold as a option extra on the new models.

It replaces the exsisting CAT and replaces it with a Sports CAT, its a Turbo back system. Makes the car 260bhp with just the exhaust, I don't want to remap it just yet otherwise I will get bored very quickly. Get that done next year.

Remus is the only one to have in terms of noise, its incredible. Never heard a Magnex system but other people on VXRonline have.

Remember that price includes the price of a new CAT as well, a CAT on its own is normally 300-500 quid, turbo downpipe as well. TBH if you work it all out its not actually that expensive.

I'm going in Monday now

You have to remember that Remus make parts which fit though Steve, unlike other brands.

There's about 3 options for the VXR, this is the best one and it's got £300 worth of cat in it.

Not sure how much, who cares I want it done and I'm not touching that car myself. Its under warranty I do not want to touch anything mechanical on the car.

(coming from someone that builds exhausts on a daily basis)

that price for a proper turbo back stainless system with a sports cat is about right, I would charge £750ish for a custom built item to the same spec on that car.

I'm quoting what VXRPC are quoting

Level 1 - The full VXR Sport Exhaust system - £850-00 inc vat with free fitting. Giving c260 bhp.

Thats 20bhp over standard, seems optimistic to me. I'm not to worried about BHP figures TBH, I just love the way it sounds.
