get out and do something new. Find a hobby or something to fill your time. Be the one to keep your mates together as much as you can even if you are all doing different things these days.
Just dont sit about the house feeling sorry for yourself, as it'll make you feel 100x worse!

Hang in there fella. It's a difficult time of life because lots of stuff is changing around you and a lot of it you can't control. One day you will just decide to change something and everything will feel a lot better

Well mate all I can say is, when one thing is bad, it feels like it is all bad. Get texting all your mates and tell them you want a lads night out, just to bring the gang back together. That'll solve the mate thing and the not anything to do thing. Wait and see what happens with the missus (hope it goes well) and if you don't like your job, get hunting for one you will enjoy

i dont deal with change well tbh, finding a new job is not that easy, think of aplyying for the greater manc fire service, probly not av a chance tho, well hard to get in
as for g/f bin with her 3 n half year n all of a suden she not sure if she wants to be with me and wants sum time on her own
as for mates well..... i wouldent evan no what to say to some of them now

In all seriousness nobody deals with change well. There are degrees but nobody likes it because we all like our own little comfort zones. Sometimes the best thing you can do is say fuck it and decide to change it yourself, At least then you have control of what's going on in your life. Also if you approach joining the fire service like that then I guarentee you won't get in no matter how suited to it you are. You've got to 100% believe you can do a job like that and 100% want to do it.

my missus did the same after we'd been going out 2 or so years. As Bex has said people change, but that doesnt always mean you split just means she needs to reconsider whats happening in her life.
BTW- Me and the missus got through it and have been together over 5 1/2yrs now.

tbh i aint that sort of person, it just aint me 
the mate issue started last year, we all went to newque last summer 17 of us, but after that the just all started drifftin away 1 by 1, now there is about 5 or 6 of us that stay in contact
apart from working and goin to the gym i realy have nothing else to do, what do u lot do on a random nite bar come on cs?

But saying all this he sent me a £50 bunch of flowers for my birthday the other week and he keeps texting me telling me he misses me and I think I might just crack one day soon.
We split up about a year and half ago.

I've known my mates since i was 5 when we moved into the area. We all know that GF's will come and go, but my mates will be there for life.
