Just had a call to say I've got a job over there for 4 days next week, anyone been before? Is it nice?
I'm so glad this has come in, it was only today I were thinking I needed to get away too!!

I was over there a couple of weeks ago for a long weekend with the wife. We've been a few times before.
I'm sure the weather will be a lot better too!!
Get down to the port for a bit of star/car/poser spotting LOL oh and the little boats!!

Yeah been a few times, is really nice!
If you get a chance get down to the port area in Puerto Banus 9just down the road) much nicer than Marbella IMO and better cars/boats there these days!

The guys parents own a eating shed there so we'll be there alot getting wined and dined no doubt.

Not a clue mate, won't know till we arrive and see it all, all I know is that we're there Tuesday till Friday, possibly Monday till Friday and that's it

There is a bar on the front called Coyote Bar, was fairly good when we were there although was a fortune (about £30 for a round of 4 drinks!).

It's all expense covered by this guy and his manager bird which normally includes food and drinks on a night etc... so notreally going to be a problem...
Trying to sort out the flights now... it's a right pain in the arse!

We've been looking for a place out there for a while (along the golden mile between Estepona and Puerto Banus) as has everything...decent beach, good weather, good bars/restaurants and so just sitting by the boats and cars!!

can't see us having time to go clubbing, we'll probly clock off and go for a meal, few beers and back to the house to reset for the next day, backups etc... it's not really a holiday at all, we'll be working tons, but I might get the odd hour here and there to have a scout round.

I was there for 5 days last month, prices weren't that bad tbh i think 3 quid was the most expensive pint we bought.

We mainly drank round the villa, just bought in crates of beer. And meant when we were out at night it wasnt costing a fortune!
You could eat and drink in a restaurant for OK prices, just bars were robbing you!

We never actually went out at night in Marbella just during the day walking about that was at random bars.
We went out in Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Torremolinos iirc dont know why they were all dead

Yup, while we're eating we'll be looking over story boards and planning the next days shoots etc... we might get a bit of time in the airport on the way back to relax
Nah, the first day we get there about 12 in the afternoon so we're not doing anything, but the people we're meeting will need briefing and then we'll probly go look at the location.... so yeah, all work, no play
