I was messing about with insurance quotes earlier and found i can insure both the 180bhp and 225 bhp TT for £800ish.
I've always liked the TT's but never really knew much about them. I've tried a search on here and cant really find much about them. Just wondering if anyone has owned one and what they think of them.
Would i need to start finding men attractive if i got one
The 180bhp one is not all that quick but i'm not too fussed about speed. I'd just get some nice big Audi RS4 style wheels and i'd be happy.
But anyway, what are they like to live with, fuel costs etc.
Any help would be grand

I get 22.3mpg on average in my S3 which is the same engine, but thats mainly round town driving and driving it quite hard. I use Vpower so its around £60 to fill up so fuel economy is'nt great. But if your on the motorway a bit expect about 26-28 mpg possibly.

My mates got a white one, very nice inside and out. Not as raw as the elise or S2k and I found the turbo lag a bit of a pain in the ass but I would defo have one!

The back seats are totally useless unless your friends are midgets.
Boots better than i expected, and you can put the back seat down to make it even bigger.
Quattro is brilliant, and the car is very quiet.

Yeah the turbo spools up just before 3k, but will pull pretty well to 7k. Not had mine RR'd yet, but expect it to be around 260bhp.

Don't get me wrong, once it gets going it's very quick and very refined. Really thinking about going for one after summer.

I'm only 22 (yesterday ) with 2 years ncb. I thought that price was quite good too. Thats for the 225bhp one too.

Yeah £800 is quite good, aslong as that is FC and you dont have £600 excess!

How are you finding the S2K? The one thing that put me off them was the lack of TC, the fact its RWD and most of the time it rains here = sideways all the time!
