I have no idea why, but i allways find it strange when you see cars that are you favs/changed the sceen/up a levle of modding not shinnee and poilished and looking mint on a stand at a show or something similar

eck/wrighty

i find it intresting/sad when cars that were stunning at the time/changed the modding scean in some way are left in garages for years, looking unloved

obviously the golf is just dusty, but there are many cars that were/are brillaint that will just sit idle for years, down to money/projects/family etc

Paul Baileys RS2K is a ledgend, but sits in a barn iirc with hay on it, SVM'S car actully changed the way RS turbos were built at the time, now it sits in a garage with bits of rover on it

etc etc

There is a Cossie sat in my barn covered in hay.. It's the biggest sack of shit I have seen in my life. I have never seen such a rusty car before

Anyhow. Very nice Mk1 Golf. I want one for my next project. I just need to fund some Quattro or 4Motion running gear

I prefer to see people keeping thier creations rather than building them, and then immediately selling them after driving them a few times, or just stripping them for parts

Engine bay

As you said though Jr, other commitments might prevent people from keeping on top of things, that and lazyness!

engine bay is amazing.

speaking of mad cars being stored etc. if anyone remembers the 98 max power cover car, a silver nova from n.ireland, the first max cover car from n.ireland. it was a xe on carbs. had its stored since and is working on it now to get it back on the road. putting in a standard xe until the funds come for a ripping engine

member on here, marcus plowman
