due to the over crowding of the prison system, prisoners are being let out early..

not only are they releasing them but they are compensating them with £170 to cover cost of living for the time they should still be inside

I work around the prison system and this whole situation is a pain in the arse. When our local prisons are full (locked out) we have to send the prisoners to designated police stations until spaces become available in prison... at the cost of around £1200 PER PRISONER... a night! It would be cheaper for them to stay at the ritz. Who's paying for it? The tax payer.

It's a joke.

i'vegot nothing against foreigners here, i mean, 1 day, i'd like to to fuk off and live somewhere else, but the prison serivce needs sorting. deport the foreigners and bring back the death penalty for murderers and rapists. IMHO

but if you go and live somewhere else, then you'll be a foreigner

death penalty must definitely be re-instated but prosecution must not prove point beyond reasnonable doubt then...There should be NO doubt unless the murder/rapist confess wilfully

Yea. Scrap the TV, scrap the PS2's / 360's, scrap the 3 hot meals a day shite (most people, even affluent, dont have this luxury), allow 30 minutes each for breakfast, lunch and dinner, an hour for exercise and the rest of time stay in cell

and since when should prisoners still be eligible under the HUMAN RIGHTS ACT, scrap that for them too, theyve taken away someone else's rights, so let them know how it feels

going to prison is probs the best thing you could do if you have no hope in your life, no rent, no bills, free food, free everything...plus you get training and when you do get let out you get houses and benafits...
