im bored of my corsa, its just soo slow but ive put alot of money and work into, been considering a 1.6 lump for it but i cant be arsed with the hassle of getting it done and a xe is too much insurance... ive also been considering joing the dark side and getting a mk1 vts or going old skool and buying my mates beetle, dont know what to do

my brother used to have a vtr and that was cool, they just look good standard aswell, which is what i want really, well and some underbonnet specials

also i dont know how much mine is worth

only playing mate. A saxo might be faster than a corsa BUT he hasn't said HOW MUCH power he wants. There is LOTS of things that will beat a saxo

TBH depends what anount of money that you have to play with.

Wouldnt a VTS be similair to a XE on insurance?

no vts is only group 7 so its like way cheaper, id probably have around 3k to play with

but id really like my mates old beetle that he had restored and retrimmed is way

Well why not go for a totally different option and go for the beetle do a really good restoration project etc?

Would certainly be worth while in the end

ive looked a 5 gtt before and they were cheap enough to insure but they seem to have all be molested, 106 gti was too much on the insurance but i like them quite alot too, ibiza not really that fond of but a cordoba and starlets are always cool but not sure on the insurance

edit i bought the switches straight from crazyleds off ebay

Cordoba 2.0 16v is about 150bhp. Have seen these on throttle bodies too

im afraid to tell you but the vts is actually group 14 insurance the vtr is the group 7

VTR is group 7
VTS is group 13/14
Redtop would be about the same to insure as a VTS
