Soon i will be buying a newer car, but my clio is in quite a state so i dont know what to do with it!

It has the following wrong with it -

Needs 2 new mirrors
new rear wiper
new headlight
new bonnet
drivers side front bearing is starting to make a noise indicating its going to need replacing in a month or so
Passenger door is keyed
There is rust round the rear wiper and a little bit on the rear arches
There are also a couple of small dinks, one on the boot, and a mark on the drivers door by the mirror where someone reversed into me

Given the current state of it, what would you do?

PS - Its an M reg Renault Clio, metallic green, 83k, 7 months MOT, 3 months tax, no PAS/electrics, tape player

Should i ebay it, autotrader it for fook all or pay to have it scrapped?

I would try to sell it cheap first. Could make someone a cheap little car to learn in etc.

Saves you paying to have it scrapped

You wouldnt have to pay to have it scrapped. there should be a few companies around that will take it for free, Thats what my dad does, but you're a bit far

Stick it in the free ad's / ebay for £200, the 7 months MOT may appeal to somebody, otherwise the scrappy may give you £50 for it.

Take it around to your local car dealers and ask for £150. Show them all your documents etc.

Someone will buy it dead cheap as a runaround.

Here you can scrap cars and get £100.
