Was just rummaging around on Youtube and was watching this clip -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqQyNGmsXmQ

Noticed something strange at 1.03 seconds, in the background out the window the pilon just jumps accross to the left suddenly. Looks like its been cut together because the corsa caught up and passed it?

Sorry about the randomness, just thought it was strange.

sorry but that is NOT a 2ltr corsa I have had a play with 2 clios 172 & 182 and in a straight line drag race coming off a roundabout onto the motorway I have pulled in fronton both occasions, fair enough I didnt leave them for dead but I pulled past with ease

This was in my old XE corsa btw

I sincerely doubt the corsa would have caught up and passed it, but that did look strange yes.

no way a clio 172/182 would leave a 2.0 corsa standing like that unless it had a very dodgy engine.

Maybe a very poor start down to driver error?

Judging by the fact the pilon only moved slightly it would have to be one hell of a quick 2.0 (fair enough if its a LET) to pass a cup in that short space of time.

my mate has had his 172 cup for a while now( a few months) and its on par with my mates bmw 330ci up to 90ish, and with decent tires the grip and handling for a fwd car is unreal

172 Cup is quicker and lighter, would be my choice over the 182!
