I raced an XK8 the other day... don't know if it was supercharged but he couldn't lose me in my 106 GTi.... he was surpriesed when we came to a stop to asy the least!

I am so bored with hearing about how absolutely fantastic 106 gti's are, how they can beat absolutely everything on the road, and I am bored with 106 owners on this website who believe we want to hear how great said car is.

xk8 is a 4.2 v8 no s/c

It's more of a cruiser tbh, nice noise though

XK8's arent really that fast, 300bhp but weigh about 1700kgs Still 60 in less than 6 seconds and 100 in about 14 tho so you have done very well in your 106GTI!

XKR's are a different story, still heavy but 400bhp! Sub 5 to 60 and just over 10 to 100!

Was thinking that myself. With all that weight I doubt it'll get to 60 in under 6 seconds.

Edit: Looking on Evo it says an estimated 6.1 - 60.
