I suggest you get a disease, and ring in sick when ever you god damm please because it never counts against you and there is nothing anyone can do to prevent you never doing a full weeks work.

as said some companys enforce an absence monitoring policy, the bradford factor is one of the fairist iv ever seen, however as said disease or no disease, i can see nothing but industrial industries getting in the way of disciplinary action on the ground of capability.

Due reason? I have a diagnosed disease, it can flare up at anytime. Work have my doctors notes, there is nothing anyone can do if I suffer a flair up and I cannot work.

I developed this disease this year, I have worked for the company for 8 years, I had 3 months off at the start of the year whilst it was being diagnosed, if they decided to sack me beacuse I have been diagnosed with a disease I could be a very rich man.

Doesn't matter at my work either disease or not if you are off sick too often and fall foul of there procedures you are for the chop.

I know ppl who have had cancer and been getting written warnings etc for being off too often

Your probably right as it sounds like there is nothing in your terms and condition which allow for you to be dismissed for capability, however my old company sought union approval over implementing such a scheme, had i have been in your position yes i could potentialy have got dismissed and i wouldnt have stood to be very rich and nor would you.

Yep, I don't think my work would go as far to sack you but you would still get the warnings etc....
