Me and fad tagged along with the Piston heads Kent run today, quick overview of what happend
6.30 Meet at Services, some of what was taking part
This is where we made mistake 1  there were 2 groups left to leave when we got there, both leaving at the same time, one after the other, we made the mistake of going with the group with
S3
Atom
S1 elise
TT coupe
and a few others, we decide that, on the basis that there was a clio and an MX5, we wouldnt be outpaced, how wrong we were, after around about 10 mins, it seemed you needed to do everything possible to keep up, clio and Mx5 were simply so quick down the lanes, a boat like astra had no chance, we stayed with the group, Just
After a 45min Blat across the county, which was at a high rate, we got to the cafe
This is where we decided to go with the other group, Celica, TVR'S, elise, XKR, and ultima  , sx impreza's etc
preparing for a drive by
at the pub, the finish, and the clio in question

1.4 16v, 85bhp, he said he keeps getting pink 1.4ls corsa's try it on, but obviously this is better

Its times like this I look at my car and realise its not actually that clean.
I'll take relief in knowing all these cars scratches and stonechips aren't showing up in the pictures!

Was an amzing experience and we ended up doing 260 mies by lunch time
Anyone want a GSi Astra seriusly thiniking of buying something cool with some flair
Got to say were some hairy moments lke doing an indicated 115 death donkeys alongside a canal
Awsome experience and ws the first time i've used the car in anager

Jus goes to show what a few tweaks can do to make an already quick car even quicker
