its not the fact the bands make it big its the fact a lot of bands forget who they are or compleatly change there image/sound from one album to the next.

all because there managment tell them so they can appeal to 12 year olds more

regardless of how cool you think they still are that doesnt really matter, however, there music changed a lot from the album city of evil and the previous one.

not to mention they totally changed there look when the new album was released.

Lostprohets just went very down hill, lisen to there earler songs, "fake sound" ect and compare it to there new stuff quite dire.

plus i have no issue with a band being maintstream, just the fact a lot change there sound to appeal to a different audience for the mula.
