Well that was the 2nd part of a 3 part evening.

Started after a nice meal in Maidstone to return to find the girls van i'm seeing had been clamped £120
3rd part was a puncture on the way back to drop Donna and Daimo off so that had to be changed

Now back to the 2nd bit in detail.
Were sat at traffic lights and they were just changing then heard a great big screech then *THUMP*
Guy in one of those Kangoo vans had gone straight into the back of us, his excuse his mate was showing im a pane of glass which took them 2-3 mins to find in the back of the van to show us as proof
He was quite happy to hand over his number and sort it out Saturday.
Then I noticed he had no tax and several of us noticed him slurring as well as Jen smelling the booze on his breath. By this time Daimo was ringing the local Police and I had to keep the guy talking until they arrived ( as he didn't know we had called them). So I stood there asking to see his tax he said it was in the glovebox, so I asked to see it, wasn't there must still be at the office thrn the story changed that he had forgot to get tax, but was only a few days out of date. So I said no tax = no insurance? Kept saying he was insured, dialled his number to see if it worked to waste more time ( it did). He then said he and his mate had celebrated after finishing a decorating job and was abit p1ssed, no need to call Police as he would sort it all out, just as he said that Police turned up and I said you can explain that to them .....

Turned out he was over twice the legal limit and was arrested there and then.
Scum ..... just imagine if he hadn't hit us in a big van and it had been a pedestrian

Left the chinese in Maidstone @ midnight and arrived home 4am. Long ass night and everyones been left with sore necks and Jen has a sore chest as well

look on the bright side, he will get a ban, and that takes him off the road for a long time in which, if he hadnot hit you he could still be drink driving, he could hit some one else, a little girl maybe? you HERO

It's a company van so shes getting a replacement this morning, think she was more annoyed cos she can't get in the boot and it damaged the rear bumper and the reverse sensors were damaged and stayed on constantly

We all had a part to play, Daimo rang it in while we tried to keep him talking long enough for the Police to turn up.
But as has been said it's another drink driver off the roads!

I'm not feeling bad, necks not even hurting at the mo, think mines getting used to whiplash as this is the 3rd or 4th accident i've been in as a passenger! Donna and Daimo both had sore necks as did Jen, but I think her seatbelt has bruised her chest as she said her chest was hurting and she couldn't breathe properly
The Policeman said as he was a drink driver everyone should sue him!

You gotta wonder how many times hes done it before or would do it again if he hadn't hit us last night and OVER twice the limit. Limit is 0.35mg or something and he was 0.81mg

Both cars had minimal damage visually, but we estimate he was doing to 30mph+ when he crashed into us who were still. He skidded 1st and obviously was paying no attention to the road

To be honest he started to get abit aggressive and Jen tried pulling me away, but had to keep him there long enough til the Police got there. Never know what these dodgy little colin hunts have on them Steve so will go about it the correct way.
Any idea who to go through? My car insurers or one of these companies on tv???
