Sometimes, not addicted or anything though. I'll play if i'm at a pub/bar and I have a couple of quid change in my pocket. Liking Deal or no Deal at the moment.

we have deal or no deal in most of our locals. good game, won 70 quid off about 5.50 on it last week. we usually all chip in our spare change and take it in turns to play it.

We went back about 3 hours later... he said "I'm only going to put £10 in"
He rinsed the whole lot back in

Never put a coin in them, seen how much my mate wastes and decided never to.
He can lose 40 and 50 quid in the space of ten mins and then sits dour faced for the rest of the night.

used to play a lot, sometimes was up as much as £500 a week. got properly addicted but never lost a large amount, over time I probably lost though.
the old Homers Meltdown machine was great, knew it inside out and often won a LOT of cash on that one. havnt played for years now though.

Not really down to the machine. Just means there's a lot of chumps play it so the pot is full. You'll only win when it wants you to anyway. I just hate looking at Noels mug
My old fave was Pie Factory

You dont get good machines per se, you might have ones you think are lucky for you or whatever but they're all pre-programmed to give out a sixth or a seventh of whatever they take in.

You know you're fucked when the machine throws you a "?"
Really fuckin pisses me off when it lands of Game Over, it's like "fuck off, no chances here pal, you're outta here!"

I don't play them, always lose. I have a friend though who knows how to play every machine, still don't understand how he seems to know everyone
He must cain them on the sly.

It's quite obvious how they work. I can walk up to a machine i've never played before and "know how to play it".
I don't even play for the fruits, that's wank, you're always best building up your trail, then exchanging and going on the board

But I did win £10 last night, and a few weeks ago I came out £40 up

Personal best was walking into a kebab shop, ordering a small donner with the bit of change I had.
Put my last pound in the machine, then won 2 £35 jackpots on the trot
...thought "I can afford a drink now too! Wehey!" and the guy let me have it anyway. That was a good evening

Either way I like it whilst it keeps giving me cash
But yeah his face is annoying, same goes for the Itbox game of Deal or no Deal.
