HUGE tuning potential, theres a local one up here with 270bhp ATW, had a play against him last night actually and it was comical
I like the look of them but I would prefer the newer shape Galanza

from your spelling, can you get insured?

Starlets are good, 1.3 turbo (Hi/lo settings) 135bhp( from memory), nippy but die after high speeds.

when tuned they can keep up with the best of them but you would need to throw alot of money at them.

Ive got one atm, Good cars, pretty expensive to modify though. Most little parts will be alot more expensive than any corsa/saxo part, even stupid things like, springs will set you back around 140quid without dampers etc
200bhp is easy attainable though with around 1500 +quid thrown at it, but a bigger turbo/hybrid will have to be used to be safe.

270bhp atw will take alot of work, and will need engine to be forged and uprated internals.

That one belongs to a guy up this way mate, he was at the local cruise last night

The one with 270bhp is very highly modded, hes chucked more than 6k at the engine, bigger subaru turbo, custom tubular manifold, uprated internals etc

0-60 is pretty decent on them, around 7.3secs due to age, top end isnt as good, but normally they are limited to 112mph anyway.

This is my mates one. Its quite nippy. Has a couple of things done to it, running around 145BHP. Had a little play with him against my XE from 40mph and he couldn't keep up.

Insurance isn't too bad from the quotes i was getting. A lot cheaper than my Corsa anyway.

my mate has got the old shape 1 not the new galanza.it is standard at the moment and tbh its not fast,he has said by doing small easy mods like intercooler induction etc can make a big difference.but i think top end speed isnt fast unfortunutly cuz they arnt bad cars
