well i was on my way home from the cinema and i was going towards a speed camera (pointing in my direction) and there was a car coming towards me.

i was about 1/2 way across the lines and i saw 2 flashes of light. (camera was still physically infront of me)

we passed each other at about the same time.

am i gunna get done for anything?

i was traveling at about 32 - 33 at the time (30 LIMIT)

(i have been a passenger at night in a car doing near on 50 before through them and they never flashed)

You can if it's a Truvelo and is on the same side of the carriageway as you. They don't flash you see.

not true, you can now, there is a old twin one near me that is now one that gets you from the front, but they have left the old lines on the road to fool you.

you can tell by the lenses in it are different, 1 is red

Gatso's also look like Truvelo's though. But, the Truvleo would have to be on your side of the road, so I'm sure you're safe.

I think you will find they do, unless it's just a co-incidence i got flashed by a front facing trevelo on the way into Sheffield on Haloween last year, and then got charged 60 quid and 3 points. It was a purplish flash, 100% certain that they flash.

The Truveo that I pass every day flashes towards the drivers, looks like fucking lightning when u see it from a distance near night time.

Corb will confirm this is a forward facing camera

here is a propper pic, about the same place i was last night when it went off..

imagine the mondeo was abit closer to me that would be the exact same situation.
