Looks like i'm going to have to travel for a decent job. Meaning my 1.4 16v Corsa C is no longer going to be practical. It drinks fuel to easily. The other night costing around £15 to do 100 miles mainly motorway.

Looking for a cheaper car to run for around 8 - 9k. I don't really care what it is as long as it's cheap to run and will last 3 - 4 years, around 120,000 miles before it's sold on.

My SXI is ace on petrol, yes there are better cars but is it really worth the hassle of changing cars?

Have a look around online, you could get a brand new Corsa D cdti much cheaper than Vaux dealer prices & the sites even take part ex's

Fabia is a brilliant car

Your corsa isn't worth 8-9k.

Factoring in the money you'd have to put down, then how much that will depretiate, is it cheaper buying a car than paying for the fuel in the current one?
