What 1.6? CVH? around 130bhp? single carb? thats what engine my bro had in his escort, was quite quick.

High lift cams? This the 1600 16v? Standard, they put out 88bhp. With carbs and cams, I reckon maybe pushing 90bhp.

The 1.6 16v engines are woeful tuning bases. The valves are that small the fuel and petrol need to wait in turn to enter the cylinder!

It will be an 8v cvh. Around 100bhp standard, but they arent all that at all to be honest.

Standard ones had 95bhp, so even 115bhp is pushing it with those mods TBH.

Its one or the other, all sports were single choke carb, and the mk3 XR2is were all injected hence the name
