Was hoping to have the car complete for its MOT on Friday, but due to the poor weather today, have only managed to get the bumper primered up ready for paint and the rest of the car ready for it to go on. Looks like it's gonna be still in primer when its MOT'd but ho hum.

Pics anyway:

GRP'd the seam after Tigersealing it up yesterday

Then tidied it up ready for today's efforts:

Made some hairy filler for added strength too:

And then created some post-modernist impressionist abstract art:

(I think it symbolises the struggle of man to create something in a limited time... ... anyway:

Filler primered it up, let it dry off and cut it back:

Irmscher Workmate - new from Black and Decker...

Then a few coats of white primer with a rubdown between (the primer came in a container with a Cossie on so I was thinking of jr at this point):

and a couple of close ups of where the bumper was holed completely and cracked:

That's your lot for a few days now, off to see family etc before I leave next Wednesday

very good, like the way that you have cut the line into it, most would of just smoothed it over but you have done a good job of it!

you could get it rubbed down 2morow and sprayed easily! are you selling the car or keping it?

Yeah, didn't want it smoothed as I'd also have to do the rear, plus I like the definition it gives.

I'm off to Devon at 6am tomorrow, back late, then up to Bolton on Thursday. Nightmare tbbh.

Practice, just rather do it myself than fork out hundreds for a bodyshop to do it. Granted the finish isn't perfect but I don't have a booth/workshop at my disposal.
