Yeah 192bhp, 0-60 in 6.8 i think. It really is tempting. But then i could get a second hand Astra VXR for the money!

Dunno how much i'd put it up for if i was to tbh.

Nah, forget the Astra VXR man, you wanna Corsa VXR. Be more rare I reckon so not only worth more. Also 192bhp isn't quite as powerful as the Astra engine but without a doubt tunable to at least 300bhp which is a hell of alot for such a small car.
If I had a the money, that's exactly what I'd do.
I wanna test drive a Corsa VXR but doubt they'd let me

Jay - what colour was the one you went in? Was it Arden Blue with mahoosive VXR stickers on the side? If so, I saw that in town Friday night.

I fell in love with them at Triple Eight for the official UK launch - that was just looks, let alone how it drove.

I think 300bhp is a long way off for the Corsa yet, the Astra has only just started cracking 300bhp and it's 2 years old and has an extra 400cc...

Whether it achieves 300bhp or not, it'll be quicker power to weight I should imagine. Might loose out on torque though?!

I'm no good with this technical hoo-haa

Stage 3 = about 310bhp, all the other tuners (Courtenay, Regal, Thorney) are offering a very similar package with the same figure.

Whats it got to do with Clarkson?
He has NO taste in cars, period.

Nah Steve, I reckon it'd be better in the Corsa coz its lighter.

It was Clarkson who said it had too much torque. It hasn't.

And the Astra VXR doesn't have too much torque. The car he tested was pre-production, but they insisted on it being on the track for him to test. Or so I heard
