I was wondering what an average quote would be to lower 40mm on just lowering springs?
Gotta quote today for near £200 and not sure what to make of it.
I can't do it myself and don't know anyone that could do it for me.

does that inclded buying the stuff? or just the getting fitted.

edit: just read its only sprigs. in which case thats quite expensive imo. can get a full kit for 200 and then fitted for about 30-50

That includes buying the springs and fitting them.

They told me they charge £100 to fit them.

Thats the only place real close to me that fits them too

Yeah, that seems a bit steep.

£40-£80 on the springs depending what ones you get, then probably £50 fitted.

The garage will be making a profit on buying the springs. Source the springs yourself, then get them fitted. That place in Bedford would do it, unless they're just a shop?

Yeah, that is where I meant.

Try any of the garages in Biggleswade, particularly Biggleswade MOT Centre, because they do full servicing, not just tyres & exhausts & MOT's!

If you were local, I'd take you up on that offer.
Can't afford it at the mo anyways was just getting a quote coz I didn't think I'd be spending much over £150 if that.

Deano - I dunno whether they'd do mods, I know County don't fit aftermarket exhausts coz already asked them so doubt they'd do suspension either

Say no more then, it is literally 8things to undo at the front and the back is less than that, but if you dont change wheels then i'd leave it.

any small local garage will do it for you im sure but be prepared to pay up, young lads in thier eyes have money to burn

Both Biggleswade MOT Centre and Stapletones would fit an aftermarket exhaust for me, so they might do springs. Only a phone call!

Really? Ahh, sounds good, I shall do so.
Do they do engine transplants too, hah, doubt it but that'll be fun trying to find a cheap but decent place to do that for me.

Nope, 15's at the mo, wanna put 16's on there sometime and depending on how it looks with a 40mm drop, I may upgrade to 50 - 60mm.
