Thought id post this project as it is a repaint and it is a corsa.
Its my brothers girlfriends brothers first car, a 1.0l 12v 3dr in pretty good condition.

started it this afternoon.

first job was to get the dents in the bonnet out a bit, i couldn't get behind them and didn't have a rothenberg with me so i drilled a hole put in a screw and pulled it out with a pair of molgrips.

then started on the bad boy extended bonnet

also noticed that a previous body shop had done some shabby repairs on nearly every panel and had also left the bent bumper reinforcer in place, their name and number is on the number plate if you want to avoid them.

he is having the arces slightly smoothed in and because of the 17"s i have removed all the studs. then bonded the arches on with tiger seal so they are on nice and solid.

next is the semi smooth boot, pretty simple weld a plate then fill it, removed the rear wiper too

trial fitted the kit quickly

the skirts don't fit too well at all so will need some major fettling

the bonnet with the first skim of filler

notice ed was constructive with the graffiti on the walls

not done much tonight as i have got to repair and paint the quarter ,door and arch on a ford KA. I got some fibre glass on the arches only a littlethough as they are only going to be slightly blended in rather than fully smooted in like eds. i rubbed the boot down and got another coat of filler in it

basically you just take the front stud out so you can just slide the bumper under the arch when its fitted, you could screw it from the inside also

managed to get some more done today
finished the ford Ka this morning

then bonded the sill skirts on with tiger seal, i cut loads out as i think it will look much better like this, i've screwed it all down to hold it in place while it dries overnight then ill remove all the screws except the ones in the sill. Will also need to make a bracket at the ront as is a little flimsy.
Should get loads done tomorrow though, been doing my brothers Viva also today

They are going to look a lot better with that whole section removed from them on the rear quater. They look like they are sitting far more flush.
