 | Well i thought i would try and do something different to everyone else bodywork wise, But now half way through and only 29 days left to get the bodywork sorted fit an X16XE and MOT the car before i need it on the road it's becoming a bit of a pain in the arse & I'm not really convincws yet how it's turning out
here's a few work in progress pics...
Anyway I found an astra Bumper which with a few modifications i thought could look quite Good on the Corsa & Quite different as i had never seen the bumper before.....

Also with the Bumper was a set of sideskirt's which as again a little different and I had never seen them before, And they were Chopped and modded a little to meet the Front and rear arch's which are now about 3" wider as you'lll see from this side shot

Used some chopped up PSG Arch's and smoothed them into the body/bumper/Skirt's, Pics at a funny angle though the wheels dont sit like that, Although the arch's do need shaping still, Should easilly be able to take 18's/19" wheels, or something smaller and a very large -mm drop once finished

also just in the process of 'Badboy'ing and extending the bonnet and Smoothing the boot

I'll show some more pic's when it's looking a little better.
I know it's not to 99% of peoples taste on here( well it's not even to my taste yet
) but it's just a little project & to try and make something different, It'll be being painted in Pearl white with a twnge of purply pink once finished
 All Opinions/Slander Welcome

Might be getting sold once finished and the 1.6 goes in mid may in favour of a subtle Xe/LET corsa

 | Wow posts been uo 5 hours and not 1 bad comment
  ... Yet
Unsure on which wheels to buy for it, Will be going for 18's 19's to fill the arch's then get a set of coilovers so it sits better so any suggestions on teh wheels is welcome

Still have to Decide which Wing mirrors to pick, i have a set of M3 i ones already just unsure whether they will suit, and tbh i want something different.

Also thinking of Getting Smoked sides and Rears Maybe Depo front or Morrettes, but not the same colour as the car will see what works

 | That's a lot of filler!

GSi kit and speedlines is the safe option though, least you've done something different.

 | Yes Dave & Ash Quite a bit of filler on it i agree lol which will no doubt weigh it down an awfull but I'm not building it for speed anway.

An X16Xe will be going in once the bodywork is finished so it wont be that slow as the X14Xe which is in it has an unknown fault and I'm fed up of trying to fix it now
  ,
IIRC i wont have to change anything apart from the engine to do the swap?

ASH: Yup that was the aim, It's just proving a pain in the arse to get everything perfect and and modifying little bits here and there, But i will still be having a couple of 'Safe' subtle cars for day to day duties

steve: I dont really see the W
... unless you mean the bottom part in which case it's a strange looking W

Would rather you were honest TBH no matter how brutal
  that's why i asked for views/opinions regardless.
I'm making this knowing it's not going to be everyones taste, but things that are Different are always like that.

I just want to create something a little different rather than having a standard euro box like everybody else out there

 Stavs: Thanks for the comments
your Arden Blue corsa is Stunnign BTW Wouldn't mind something like that as an everyday car |

 | Front bumper doesn't suit it at all IMO.

Also, why not weld instead of filling?

There is nowhere that needed to be welded apart from the bonnet and the Boot
now the filler has been used on them to give a smoother finish

 If thats what you meant

And yes the Bumper Is quite aggressive, but i think it Suits the rest of the Car

I meant the boot. Sorry I didn't elaborate. So is the boot welded and fillered?
