I was just driving along the M6 coming back from coventry, and I was cruising at my 'normal motorway speed', and I notice some little thing walking slowly across the 3rd lane. Wasn't exactly sure what it was, but it sort of looked like a hedgehog, so I drifted slightly to the left thinking I would miss it, and it suddenly stops moving and I hear a feignt *du-dum* as my car runs straight over it. Judging by where it stopped, and where my wheels were at the time, I can only assume i caught the bottom half of the poor thing, so it didn't die instantly. I even pulled over on the hard shoulder, made my bird wait in the car while i spent 10 minutes looking for the thing to see if it was ok. Couldn't find it anywhere
Dunno what i would of done if i saw it anyway... didn't think that far, and the misses was making light hearted jokes, but I genuinly felt bad - maybe I'm just a big pussy? I hope it didn't have little hedgehog kids or something Am i going to hell??

Unfortunately it happens mate I remember when I was going along the back roads one day a rabbit jumped out of no-where and hopped directly into my bumper I looked in my mirror to just catch it rolling into a bush. I felt really bad until I went to the front of the bumper and saw a big saliva mark on the bumper where it looked like my bumper chinned it I know its sick but that amused me.

Ran over a couple of pidgeons... whch was a bit nasty
Was in a friends Car when he ran over a Badger at about 70 in his sierra, the car bounced and slid a little
Same friend also ran over a cat in his Nova and got it stuck in his Wheel arch, was pissing out blood and screaming which was a bit sickening

I had to finish the pheasant off, it was flapping about and bleeding so I had to stamp on it's head

I ran over a rabbit once in the missus' car. She made me turn around and look for it - at that moment in time I was on a single lane country ride, so had to do a 1,000,000 point turn. Anyway, got back to the 'scene of the accident' and it wasn't there

I hit 2 pheasants once in an old Scorpio. They have got to be the thickest animals living.

God knows how many rabbits as I live out by some fields and they are far to prolific at the moment!
In my corsa C i hit a pigeon. It hit my front light at about 45 and I looked in my rear view mirror and all I could see was a mass of feathers falling down like confetti
