well my poker career has just taken a massive boost..
been trying my luck at playing games for tickets to bigger games for a few weeks now.
well this week i started a tourne which was a $3.40 buy in, for a ticket to a $10+1. which i won
i then decided to go for bust and played using that ticket to a ticket worth $100+8.
i noticed pokerroom runs a massive tourne with a $1000+40 buy in. this runs once a month and has a min prize fund of 150k...
so i decided to go for broke with my 100 ticket and played a tournament that pays with a ticket to this...
and u guessed it muther truckers!! im the proud owner of a $1000 ticket to the tournament.
The tournament runs for 6hrs 30mins on sat night at 7 30pm. it then stops and carrys on sunday till its over...normal turnout is 300ppl, with top 50 getting paid min of a grand each.
GET THE FOOK IN...

$3.40
Its not always about winning money to go in your pocket, as would only be a small amount. Winning a ticket to a bit tournament is a good thing to be going for.
Good luck

yep its cost me $3.40 for a ticket worth $1040...
Its not the fact i could win big money, well it is, but its the fact it will defo be the biggest tournament of my life, unless i made pro (no chance)...
only 160 ppl entered last year after just looking, top 20 paid...

Good luck, what if your computer crashes? If you win £150,000 can you give me £1,000 please?

Computers don't just randomly crash really... But most places offer some kind of disconnection protection or your hand gets folded and you sit out until you are up and running...

Yes ed, thats right they have diconnection protection and u get put on away....
all that will be running is the poker site/my table so chances of crash are minimal...worst thing is wireless network loss, as it seems to do it regurlaly.
Its on pokerroom.com btw

this attitude makes me laugh from people who don't gamble.
You can't say 'he should of taken 2k and walked'.
He could of had that attitude when he was at £100 and walked then, and never reached 2k!
Similarily he could of gone on to win 10k, and if he had taken 2k he would of missed out on that chance.
Don't you watch deal or no deal You can never say 'you should of taken that' - as it can always go either way. Of course looking back, we should of all taken the money just before we lost, but we can't kick ourselves as if your going to be cautious enough to constantly take the money, you'll end up never getting much money to take anyway (as you won't gamble).
