After having it a month i find myslef wanting a corsa again but not just purely out of choice. I feel i'm not doing the car justice pottering about to work and back and feel i just want something a bit more practical. The problem is the car is sooo low speed bumps are a nightmare. If i had a job interview in say Manchester i probably couldn't take the G as i have no idea of the roads, i.e. where speed bumps are etc. Which means i have a car sat outside that i can't really (fully) use. I know i could get stock suspension for the front and raise it, but i really feel that an enthusiast would have more time and effort to put into this car than i can. I therefore feel it may be time to just get a corsa to potter around in for commuting and stuff as i don't want to ruin the G. In an ideal world i'd love to have the G as a second car, but i can't afford to keep two cars i therefore feel i may have to sell up as i love it but can't give it the time and attention it needs etc. Does anyone think i'm being silly or can you appreciate my situation Anyone want a G40

Im sorry but what a lot of shite mate.. ive had some seriosly low cars in my time and hardly ever been defeated by spedbumps.

My mk2 golf had an inch or 2 ground clearance to the subframe, you just had to be v careful etc.. never a reason to sell a car.

The cat scrapes across any speed bump, i went over a rather large one and my car resembled a see-saw practically both sets of wheels off the floor. In my post i've said i can have it raised, BUT i don't feel i'm doing this car justice as i have no time for it and need something to potter about in as you may or may not understand.

it's not just the speed bumps like i said, it's just the impracticality of the car in general and i feel i'm not doing this car justice. I may be putting a post in the classifieds in a few days, just need to think about the situation and hear what you guys think.

It is standard bar a few engine goodies and lowering springs on. 70mm on 13" alloys makes things quite difficult though

I like you

Mark, I can see where you're coming from, but I think you'd probably regret it?
