do they have to be on a certain side? and how much would you be looking at for one?

Any custon place would be able to make one up for either side I would have thought..Probably looking at £200-£300 for custom system.

pointless on a front wheel drive road car.

Side exit exhausts are used on high power rwd/4wd race cars. the idea is that the exhaust is away from all of the rear running gear making any pit work on the rear end or centre of the car faster as theres no great big 3.5" red hot exhaust in the way.

I had one done at powerflow on my old cavalier, coming out pavement side and past MOT no problems. Only £180 as it was a single box too :-)

which side would it be better coming out on? because some people says its illegal coming out pavement side but the drivers side has fuel lines.

heres mine on my nova, got it out both sides for 3 years now and always passed MOT




made it myself with sections of pipe and a silencer from demon tweeks, fairly easy just need a mig welder

just rang unique exhausts in stafford and they gave me a rough qoute off £200 but he advised me not to get it done because stones hit it and destroy the back box. just wandering if i could stop that from happening as i really quite like the idea of having it done.
