The police used silver/grey dust on my black car, inside and out...
Washed it, scrubbed it, it just will NOT come off, it's on glass, plastic, metal, everywhere...
Anyone know 1) what it is 2) if there is a solution that will efectivly remove it without damaging paintwork etc.
Cheers.

That stuff is a pain in the ass to get off. Warm soapy water a soft cloth and elbow grease is the only way I know.

there we go again Ben G... if you're just gonna say shit like that, GTF, there is a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why I had no insurance, but you always fail to mention that, you just seem to wanna make me a laughing stock!
Well, FYI, and for the last time! The car was off road and there for needent have had insurance, it was misfortune that it was stolen at all... so next time you wanna start saying shit, tell the hole fucking story, you cunt

oh, and thanks to all the other people for your constructive replies, I shall try all sugested methods of removal tomorrow...
As for police cleaning it up... when they came and dusted the house they poured it on the floow, blushed over it and just left it there, it was as simple as a duster to wipe up, but that was the white powder stuff... if they couldn't be arsed cleaning that, they're not gonna put and effort into cleaning something harder to get off

try asking some at the police station who would know about this stuff, they probably know the best way to clean it off.

antz what the fuck are you on? i was simply stating you had no insurance so you can't claim through an insurance company
i'm not saying you were driving it about or anything so it's all legal, it's just very risky, especially with an expensive car, not a crappy 200 quid rust bucket.
and take the car back to the police and tell them to clean it themselves.

I didn't insure my car when it was off the road, waste of money.
The police won't come out and clean it either.

i know, i'm not saying he's wrong for not insuring it when it's off the road.
he just thinks i'm taking the piss for some strange reason?
all i'm saying is that it's a risk you take.

yeas, the emoticons mean alot on the internet... they are supposed to be used to get your point across better, so for exanple the one I'd use for you now Ben is ... and then the wanker gif Kif always sends on MSN if I had one...
But if you are new to the net how were you supposed to know that the rolls eyes icon at the end of a sentence means that you are digging..........

Surely to tax the car, you would need insurance...
