I'm up in Edinburgh on thursday till sunday beacuse im going to a wedding on sat night.

So does anyone have any suggestions for stuff too see and do while i am there?

Castle and Planet Earth if you're into museums and stuff.

Loads of pubs otherwise....all over the place in the centre of Edinburgh.

loads and loads of touristy tours and places to visit.

Obv ones:

Castle
Yacht britania
maru kings close
Holyrood palace

er.....

I've lived in Edinburgh for 6 years and havent really done anything touristy but there is loads

i enjoyed the tour of the castle afew years ago, but i'm really quite into that kind of thing. i'd definately recommend it, also at 1pm iirc they fire the artillery gun on top of the castle

do the midnight underground city walk, it was aweomse an right laugh and they take u to a bar at the end of the night! pretty scary aswell i loved it!!
then theres the zoo which was nice and the castle and loves of shops to go around in.
coudl always get a bus to glasgow awell

saw an interesting crash at the weekend there in leith. Two cars crashed head on but either side of a lamp post strannggeee

DONT go to the zoo i was there last week too and they have hardly anything and alot of cages were closed due to rabies

i went for my first wedding anniversary the weekend just gone,stayed at the george on george st,got upgraded to a suite when we told them it was our ani

got there fri dinner time(lunch time for the southerners) and had dinner in hard rock cafe,then went drinking round rose st area all day.

saturday we walked up round the castle,did the royal mile etc few beers in grassmarket,watch the united match then had a table booked in a restaurant called the outsider on george IV bridge.

great weekend

cant wait to go back sometime

How would I go about booking the midnight tour? is it actually a midnight tour or more of a 9pm tour? what do you see on it?

The vaults are supposedly the most haunted pace in the UK, meant to be shit hot too!! Starts around 9pm I think!

mine started at around 10 or 11, find the bloke along the royal mile, it has a huge black kind of wall dividers on the street telling you about them, really good especialy if u get kind of a whacky young bloke, he was very entertaining and good fun!!!
