At a cost of £3090 it's back on the road

Turned out the oil pump failed, spat a rod & left a nice 2 square inch hole in the side of the block.

But its back and I got a free Impreza mug from API

As well as a few bits of theirs under the bonnet and their stckers stuck under their too

Well I won't be flying about I got 1500 pansy miles to do

It was actually near on empty & didn't think I was gonna make a petrol station as they are in the countryside

Pretty cheap that matey and API are one of the best in the business for standard rebuilds!!! Good stuff!!!!

think it must be the standard boost solenoid.... mounted on the same plate as something different looking

Nah, i'm happy with it standard. Only things they added were a few silicone hoses with their logo on and a flashy oil filler cap with their logo on it too ( looks more like a dump valve

)
Future bits will be a knocklink, remap for uk fuel, decat & possibly fmic. Nothing major or fancy.
