a guys on a 306 forum i go on,

close up of the new gt2876r bb turbo.

Apparently has bigger 440cc injectors and phase 4 eds software.
Engine spec :-
1 - Low comp pistons
2 - Arrow steel conrods
3 - Arp rod and head bolts
4 - Steel head gasket
5 - Garrett gt28r ball bearing turbo
6 - Nissan sr20det high flow equal length exhaust manifold
7 - 3" turbo back exhaust system with just a backbox
8 - EDS phase 4 ecu with switchable boost control
9 - Racetronix 440cc fuel injectors
10 - Aquamist water injection
11 - Large front mount intercooler with all 60mm boost pipes
12 - Regal 60mm tophat
13 - Regal high flow external fuel pump
14 - Cone air filter
15 - Xe inlet cam
16 - ported coscast cylinder head

I *think* the engine is tilting forwards. If you look at the first pic? Not sure...

Even if tilted forward that's some serious angle compared to how the second one looks.

nussys (the black1) would be alot quicker if he ditched the phase 4 and got it custom mapped . not sure if hes got it running properly yet tho? he used to have probs with it cutting out and boost probs ??

on his sig it says he is switching to megasquirt, and i think i was a reply of his mentioning a proper map.

spoke to him ages ago when i was having probs with mine .. borrowed his old ecu etc and he said .. LET's never look right in corsa ... says the man with 1 in a 306

The angle of the engine makes nigh on no difference. It's the way the box sits that counts. The original 306 engine lies back the way. Head towards the bulkhead and sump close to the radiator.

Wasnt just reffering to drive shaft angles, was also thinking about the 70kg lump that is infront of the front wheels which would make for some pretty shocking understeer i would imagine!
