Love reading things about the shining, superb film, really gives your brain some work to do...and after researching theories, gives the film a whole new perspective.

im going to read the book too.
this native american feature is a little far fetched, but the devices the director put in place have very strong links to the theory.
i was sceptical at 1st as watching the film only once, there's only one or 2 referrences to indians.
but excellent film

you only think this because this is the same view stephen king took on the film. you are ignoring the messages Stanley Kubrick is trying to put accross.
also the devices Stanley Kubrick uses in the film to keep the watcher thinking and drawing conclusions is why its a master piece IMO

I've read the extended version of The Fellowship of the Ring and I have to say it doesn't even compare to the film. They fill the book with so much needless crap imo (I know books are always more descriptive of things, surrounding, characters etc) but it ended up becoming quite tedious. Film was much better.
