After 2 months of not driving it and a fcuking lot of money later i finally pick her up tonight.

Kind of nervous as i haven't drove any car for nearly 2 and half months now

Cant wait.

well - first of all the head went on it so i had to wait about for quite a while to raise some funds then about 2 weeks after that my i had an accident in my mums so last monday i was finnaly able to afford to get the head done.

picked the car up on friday and got 200 yards and the nearside driveshaft sheared off out the gearbox. So had to push the fucker back in the garage. then got told the day after when they stripped it down that when the cv was changed the pin wasn't put in so this caused it to happen. so i need a new one of them which comes to day.

Yes i am still getting another corsa gonna drive round in it for a bit though, but i got to sell it to pay for my mums aslo me and the mrs want to start saving for a house so a drop in insurance would be gladly welcome.

no the 2 litre is going.

1. i have done the 2 litre thing was awesome fun don't get me wrong but when trying to sort other things out a car that keeps having things go wrong is an expense you can do with out.
2. i need to get cheaper insurance
3. i just want a nice cheap little runaroud for 12 months just to keep me tied over. Will be gutted to see it go but at the end of the day other things take priority over my car at the moment.

no need to run it in unless you have had new rings/cams/engine bearings of some type.

do C20XE corsas have alot of problems then? or is it just due to them being thrashed all the time, and tired old engines being transplanted?

i don't know really i think its just that with me everything goes wrong at once.
i have had no problems since the engine went in just all happened now. I guess its just one of them things really and it all depends on how good the engine you get is defo recomend doing it though. awesome fun.

more than likely yeah not sure what colour though. would love a red one or cerabic blue one.

There are a lot of reliable ones around mate. Too early to say with mine so far, but seems to be reasonable at the moment. I've done about 1500 miles in it.

Mates one was ok for ages and ages but he kicks the crap out of it permanently So it's starting to die

I think if they are warmed up and looked after servicewise they should be ok.

HG's can go on any engine. I've noticed more on the 1.4's

yeah i forgot to mention if you look after it will obviously last a lot longer. i drive mine hard sometimes but i always let it warm up especially in winter months.

Who knows may even LET the next one

lol if u want a cheap run about look at renault 5 campus primas...get a gt turbo bodykit and wahey nice run about...cheap insurance,cheap to run and vvvv nippy!

well i still have no car. i am fcuking well pissed off now. i left the car over easter so they can put the new cv on and then run it through its mot. Come off my holiday phoned them up "no its not ready we still waiting for the part" My god i need my car back so i can sell it and then sort my mums out.
