Anyone ever feel that they are not suited to a relationship, ie not in the right frame of mind or have the right personality/behavioural traits & lifestyle to be able to have a long term relationship?

Yes, i'm like this.

When i sit and think about it, i dont think i would have the patience to adapt my life style to suit anyone else's.

I'm at a stage in my life where i'm only thinking of myself, that sounds a bit selfish but....so what.

The only way i'll get a long term gf any time soon is if she likes me exactly the way i am now

maybe its coz ur SO used to being with girllfriend you've forgot what its like to be on ya own - depends on what sort of person you are. After 3.5 year relationship when me n my ex split up it was good for a few months but i hate being single!! sure its good up town etc when u can go on the pull but id much rather go home to someone

last year was a proper cunt year for me wasnt myself, losing amanda really fucked me up.

thing thats annoying though is when u have a gfriend and you go out, girls try it on. As soon as your single NOTHING.

same with m8s, when you are single they all get themselves into relationships and when your in one they are all single

haha yup those things always seem to happen but i guess the best thing about being single is that you find out more about yourself and what you want in life!
been single now for the past year and its done me the world of good personally. its shit sometimes like lack of girls at times but you just got to be patient and wait till the time is right and suddenly things will all fall into place

its a frame of mind thing, at the end of the day its more then likely you havent met a girl that is completely suited to you, and after a string of bad relationships you are starting to think its you and not them.

also what ant said, you cant engineer these type of things, meeting the right person just happens. If you look out it the case is you'll be unlikely to meet that special him or her.

we all think we are cunts and its all our fault at one point or another, I know I use to feel like that constantly and was sure that no woman would ever be right because I'm a total cunt.

But the truth really is you just havent found that one whos completely compatible with you.

I feel the same SetH When ever i think about the future a girl is just not part of those plans.

It's a bit weird as there is someone stuck in my mind 24/7. I just can't tell one of my friends how i feel as i don't wanna loose her as a friend and none of my past relationships have lasted more than a few months.

I'm as confussed as ever Gonna just see what lies ahead tbh.

i have had it that cos of me i ruin relationships, at the start ill do anything to make them happy, when things change i no longer show them i love them anymore cos i use the word no and cos i wont for example drive for 35 mins so they can use my toilet instead of one in a restaurant, just came out a relationship n fed up now, just dont want another one!

Make your own luck, tell her your feelings before its too late otherwise you'll just tourment yourself.

I would rather her be happy with someone else than loose her all together. Plus, if i tell her how i feel and fail uni, i'm gonna end up seeing her everyday

I'm trying to work it now so we spend time together and just go with the flow.

I want two things, but it's one or the other
